Jupiter

Laid back beach town with great amenities.

Jupiter

Jupiter is located predominantly in Palm Beach County, Florida; though there is a small portion that resides in Martin County as well.  Originally the area was named for the Hobe Indian tribe, which lived near and at the mouth of the Loxahatchee River.  Beginning with a misinterpretation of the word "Jobe", which was Spanish for the Indian name "Hobe", a mapmaker wrote "Jove" in its place.  Subsequently, later mapmakers misunderstood "Jove" to be the Latin translation as the God of Jupiter, and long story short, Jupiter 'the town' was born.

Known for it's most famous landmark, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, it is home today of some very desired real estate.  This includes the barrier island know as Jupiter Island, which houses some of the most luxurious and exclusive real estate in the area.  Known to be home to Tiger Woods and Celine Dion and offering many attractions, including beaches, museums, shopping, and restaurants; Jupiter real estate is consistently in demand by buyers from all over.
